
Germany Hosts Pro-Palestine Rally

Thousands Rally in Cologne, Germany in Support of Palestine
A large demonstration took place in front of the iconic Cologne Cathedral in Germany, with thousands of protesters coming together to show their support for Palestine and to condemn Israel’s attacks on Gaza. The rally, under the theme “Freedom for Palestine,” saw demonstrators carrying banners and Palestinian flags as they voiced their opposition to the Israeli government’s actions.
Speakers at the rally highlighted the oppression faced by the Palestinian people at the hands of the Israeli government and called out Western countries for their silence and support of Israel. Ersin Sedefoğlu, a participant at the rally, criticized the Israeli government and declared solidarity with the Palestinian people, stating that they are fighting a just and legitimate war against the occupation of their lands.
Another demonstrator, Sirus, who traveled from Bonn to attend the rally, emphasized the importance of raising their voices for those living under Israeli occupation in the West Bank. He highlighted the humanitarian perspective, speaking out against the crimes and oppression faced by the people in the region on a daily basis.
The demonstration saw participation from not only Palestinians but also Turks, Germans, and citizens of other countries, showing the widespread support for the cause. The police implemented extensive security measures to ensure the safety of the event.
