“Guardians of the Galaxy 3” dominates the US box office – update
The latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, “Guardians of the Galaxy 3”, has become the new leader of the box office. The film, which was released on Friday, May 5, attracted over 98 thousand spectators in its opening weekend.
Starring well-known actors Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, and Karen Gillan, “Guardians of the Galaxy 3” has taken the lead in the domestic box office, as well as in the US and other countries where it was released.
Despite fierce competition from the local animated movie “Elif and Friends Cappadocia”, which maintained its second place at the box office with 43,155 audiences, and “Super Mario Brothers Movie”, which fell to third place with 40,113 spectators, “Guardians of the Galaxy 3” emerged victorious.
Meanwhile, “John Wick 4” attracted 19,885 spectators and took fourth place at the box office, with a total of almost 1 billion viewers. The film has spent eight weeks in the cinema and has reached an impressive 996,686 viewers.
Rounding out the top five is the new horror and thriller movie “Satan’s Enemy”, starring Russell Crowe, which opened with an audience of 16,177.

Movie-goers seem to be enjoying the latest offerings in the cinema, with many flocking to see the latest Marvel adventure. It remains to be seen if “Guardians of the Galaxy 3” can maintain its lead in the coming weeks, but it has certainly made a strong start.
