Health cooperation protocol signed between Ministry of Health and Mehmetçik Büyükkonuk Municipality

The Ministry of Health in North Cyprus has signed a cooperation protocol with the Mehmetçik Büyükkonuk Municipality to provide health services to those most in need. The protocol will focus on providing on-site health services to people aged 65 and over, those with disabilities, and those who are bedridden. It will be carried out in mutual cooperation with the Directorate of Primary Health Care Services and Mehmetçik Büyükkonuk Municipality. The project builds on the success of the home health services provided through the “If You Can’t Come, We Will Come” project. The Minister of Health stated that the protocol with the Mehmetçik Büyükkonuk Municipality follows similar agreements with the Municipality of Famagusta and the Gönyeli-Alayköy Municipality. The Mayor of Büyükkonuk expressed her pleasure at cooperating with the Ministry of Health and wished the best for the people. The protocol is seen as an example of local governments and the Ministry of Health working together to provide essential health services to all citizens, regardless of their circumstances.
