Helicopter rescues cow with broken leg in Switzerland

Swiss Cow Rescued by Helicopter After Fight
In a city in southwest Switzerland, a fight broke out between cows which resulted in one of them having a broken leg. The injured cow, nicknamed “Goddess,” was reported in an area that was difficult to reach by vehicle. Therefore, help was called for the distressed animal.
Fortunately, rescue teams came to the scene and decided to transport Goddess to receive veterinary medicine via helicopter. They tied the cow to a harness and lifted her up with the help of the aircraft.
Although the rescue looked dramatic, it was a successful one, and the cow was safely transported to receive medical attention. However, there is no new information regarding the current condition of the cow.
The footage of the cow’s rescue garnered much attention as the use of a helicopter to rescue an animal is unusual. Swiss authorities have yet to comment on the incident.
As cities around the world continue to grapple with ways to deal with animal conflicts, it’s reassuring to know that emergency responders can be called upon to make sure that animals are also taken care of when they need it most.
