Hungarian Prime Minister Orban Criticizes Ukraine’s Distance from the EU

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban recently spoke at the congress of his party Fidesz, outlining the serious political struggles that lie ahead for the country in the coming months. Orban emphasized the need to correct the false promise to Ukraine to start negotiations, as he believes Ukraine is now light years away from the European Union. He also expressed concerns about the weakening of the European Union, comparing it to an aging body experiencing increasing limitations and diminishing vitality.
Orban warned that if the European Union fails to catch new winds in its sails, the European ship will inevitably slow down. He criticized the current European model as obsolete in the face of a renewing and refreshing world. He stressed the importance of adapting to the changing dynamics and not succumbing to the outdated ways of Brussels.
The Prime Minister also highlighted the difficulties Hungary has faced in recent years, emphasizing the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, sanctions, energy crisis, and galloping inflation as significant challenges. He described these as the hardest war the country has had to endure.
Orban made it clear that Hungary will continue to resist external influences and protect its national sovereignty. He spoke out against what he views as the brainwashing of Brussels bureaucrats, the immigrant invasion, gender propaganda, the mirages of war, and impromptu EU membership for Ukraine. He also voiced opposition to green ideologies that he believes have communist and Jacobin overtones, as well as foreign attempts to undermine Hungary’s sovereignty, including attacks from the Soros empire based in Brussels and Washington.
The Prime Minister’s comments at the Fidesz congress reflect Hungary’s determination to navigate through turbulent times and uphold its values and sovereignty in the face of external pressures.
