Osh customs officers have uncovered the use of fake documents during the transit of goods through Kyrgyzstan, as reported by the press service of the State Customs Service of the Kyrgyz Republic.
A citizen of Uzbekistan was found at the Dostuk preliminary customs procedures point, transporting goods from China to Uzbekistan through Kyrgyzstan. The transit declaration stated that he was carrying self-adhesive paper, plates, sheets, film, foil, tape, strips, and other flat forms made of polymeric materials. However, during the inspection of the documents, another international consignment note containing fake seals of the Customs Service of the Kyrgyz Republic was discovered.
This violation of customs legislation has been documented in the information log, and the relevant materials have been forwarded to the prosecutor’s office of Osh region for further investigation.
