Indian Company Avee Broilers Plans $43 Million Poultry Production Facility in Uzbekistan

Avee Broilers, an Indian genetic poultry company, is set to revolutionize the poultry industry in Uzbekistan. With plans to establish poultry farms in the Jizzakh and Samarkand regions, the company aims to not only meet Uzbekistan’s meat demands but also to become a key player in the export market.
The partnership between the Veterinary and Livestock Development Committee and Avee Broilers will see the development of poultry production facilities in strategic locations across the Jizzakh and Samarkand regions. This collaboration will focus on genetic poultry farming, which involves breeding and multiplying birds with desired traits such as growth rate, egg-laying capacity, meat quality, and disease resistance.
The project is projected to produce 4 million parent stock birds annually, meeting the region’s demand for poultry meat and reducing the need for imports from European countries. This ambitious initiative is estimated to cost $43 million, with financial support from Uzbekistan.
In the first phase of the project, a facility for breeding purebred poultry will be established, ensuring genetic uniformity in future generations. Subsequently, an incubator will be built in 2025 to begin breeding ancestor flocks for poultry production.
Avee Broilers has committed to breeding 4 million parent stock birds annually, significantly reducing transportation costs associated with importing breeding materials. The implementation of this project in Uzbekistan is projected to save up to $5 million in logistics costs across Central Asia.
This development aligns with Uzbekistan’s efforts to enhance its livestock industry through the introduction of genetic technologies. By collaborating with international partners, Uzbekistan aims to establish breeding farms and achieve greater self-sufficiency in poultry production.
Furthermore, proposals to exempt poultry farms from land tax for five years and to facilitate the export of poultry meat highlight Uzbekistan’s commitment to promoting growth in the poultry sector. With Avee Broilers at the forefront of genetic poultry farming, Uzbekistan is poised to become a self-sustaining and competitive player in the global poultry market.
