Jewelry Courier Robbed in Kırıkkale, 4 Suspects Arrested
Recently, shocking footage of a jeweler courier being robbed in Kırıkkale has surfaced, causing alarm among residents. The incident, which occurred on Menderes Street, was captured by a concerned citizen on their mobile phone. In the video, masked robbers can be seen blocking the courier, Mestur Aslan, and attempting to steal his suitcase filled with gold by firing a gun into the air. Despite the courier’s resistance, the robbers managed to snatch a small bag containing 250 grams of gold and some cash before escaping in a waiting car.
Following the robbery on February 14, 2023, the Kırıkkale Provincial Police Department’s Public Order Branch launched a thorough investigation. Thanks to their diligent work, four suspects were apprehended in Ankara shortly after the incident. The perpetrators were brought to justice at the Kırıkkale Courthouse, where they were officially arrested. The stolen gold and money were subsequently returned to their rightful owner.
This brazen act of robbery has sparked outrage in the community, prompting calls for increased security measures in the area. The incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of vigilance and cooperation in combating crime. As the perpetrators await trial, residents are urged to remain alert and report any suspicious activity to the authorities.
