Investigation underway into alleged abuse at Tanzilandia private kindergarten

Alleged Child Mistreatment at Mirzo Ulugbek Kindergarten Leads to Caregiver Dismissals
In a disturbing turn of events, caregivers at a kindergarten in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent have been accused of mistreating children with excessive harshness. This shocking revelation came to light after parents reportedly placed a voice recording device inside their child’s toy, only to discover instances of abuse.
As a result of these allegations, three caregivers have been relieved of their duties, and a pre-investigation probe has been initiated to determine the extent of the children’s injuries. A medical examination has been ordered to assess the physical well-being of the affected children.
Videos circulating online have further exposed staff at a private preschool in the capital engaging in inappropriate behavior towards the children under their care. Reports suggest that incidents of mistreatment have been a regular occurrence at the Tanzilandia private kindergarten, where children have allegedly been subjected to beatings.
One parent, noticing changes in their child’s behavior, took matters into their own hands by placing a voice recorder inside the child’s toy. The subsequent eight-hour recording reportedly captured caregivers using offensive language and repeatedly subjecting the children to physical abuse.
Following the revelation, parents who had initially faced obstacles in obtaining security footage from the kindergarten director were eventually able to review the footage at the district police department. The recordings allegedly showed caregivers physically punishing children in various areas of the facility, while behaving calmly in areas monitored by accessible cameras.
The Children’s Ombudsman has confirmed that on February 12, seven parents filed a formal complaint regarding the mistreatment of their children at the private preschool, urging for legal action to be taken. The Mirzo Ulugbek district police department is currently conducting a pre-investigation probe into the matter, with a forensic medical examination underway to assess the children’s injuries.
In response to the allegations, the preschool administration has terminated the employment contracts of three caregivers involved in the incident. The pre-investigation procedures are still ongoing, and updates on the case are eagerly awaited.
