Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Commander Killed in Israeli Missile Attack
Yesterday evening, Razi Mousavi, a high-ranking commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, was killed in an Israeli missile attack near Damascus. This news has sparked shock and outrage in both Iran and Syria.
On the X social media platform, Abdullahiyan, a prominent figure in Iran, expressed his condolences to Mousavi’s family and the people of Iran and Syria regarding the incident. He went on to describe Mousavi as his country’s “counter-terrorism consultant in Syria” and emphasized that the commander had been in the region for many years, working alongside Iranian general Qassem Soleimani, who was killed in a US attack in Iraq.
Abdullahiyan made a bold statement in his post, warning Tel Aviv to expect a difficult countdown in response to the attack on Mousavi. This threat has raised tensions in the already volatile region, as both Iran and Israel have been engaged in a series of confrontations in recent months.
