Japanese Ambassador Visits Balkan Province of Turkmenistan
The Ambassador of Japan to Turkmenistan, Mr. Hiroshi Sasaki, recently paid a visit to the Balkan velayat, as reported by the Japanese diplomatic mission’s website.
During his visit, Mr. Sasaki met with the hakim of the Balkan velayat, Mr. Hojamyrat Ashyrmyradov, to discuss opportunities for further cooperation. One of the key topics of discussion was the potential for joint projects involving the construction of factories with the participation of Japanese companies.
In addition to his official meetings, the Ambassador took the time to visit the village of Gerkez, the birthplace of the renowned Turkmen poet Magtymguly Fragi. He also explored other historical sites within the velayat.
This visit highlights the ongoing efforts to strengthen diplomatic and economic ties between Japan and Turkmenistan, paving the way for future collaboration in various sectors.
