The XV International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum” is set to take place from March 14-19, 2024 in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation.
KazanForum serves as a crucial platform for fostering business relations between Russia and Islamic countries, facilitating expert dialogues, information exchange, and joint decision-making on international projects and programs. The primary goal of the forum is to strengthen various ties – trade, economic, scientific, technical, educational, social, and cultural – between Russian regions and the 57 member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Key topics to be addressed at the Kazan Forum in 2024 include Islamic finance, halal industry, international investment, industry, innovative technologies, energy, logistics, tourism, diplomacy, ESG principles, small and medium-sized businesses, medicine, sports, and media industry.
Participation in KazanForum is open to leading experts from Islamic nations, including representatives from international organizations, national diplomatic missions, Islamic clergy, government bodies, financial institutions, large international businesses, parliament members, investors, entrepreneurs, and media heads.
The event’s agenda comprises approximately 100 expert sessions, a meeting of the Strategic Vision Group “Russia – Islamic World,” an international forum of chambers of commerce and industry, the Russia Halal Expo exhibition, a halal fair, an Islamic fashion festival, and tours to spiritual and historical sites in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Forum will be held in a hybrid format, allowing for both in-person and online participation. For more information about the Forum and participant registration, visit the official website at www.kazanforum.ru.
Supported by the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, KazanForum holds federal status. In 2023, the event attracted over 16,000 individuals from 80 countries, leading to the signing of 130 agreements across various sectors.
