Karşıyaka Sports Club in İzmir, Turkey has developed a new project in partnership with the Izmir Sports Clubs Association Foundation. The project aims to construct a sports facility for public use that will include a standard-sized natural grass field, a synthetic turf field, small synthetic turf fields, tennis courts, basketball and volleyball courts, tribunes, locker rooms, and playgrounds. The facility will be able to accommodate up to 3,000 children and youth every day. The construction is led by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu. AK Party Deputy Chairman and İzmir Deputy Hamza Dağ and parliamentary candidate Kerem Ali Continuous also participated in the ceremony. The construction is expected to be completed in a year and a half, pending the promotion of Karşıyaka to the higher leagues. The project will include six courts, four fields, an amphitheater, and playgrounds. The club’s president, Turgay Büyükkarcı, expressed his excitement about the project and stated that it was their goal to realize the dream of a sports facility, which has been a long-standing ambition of the club for more than a hundred years.
