Kayserispor Penalized for Point Deletion by TFF: Latest Sports News Update

Kayserispor’s Objection to 3-Point Deletion Penalty Rejected by Turkish Football Federation Arbitration Board
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Arbitration Board has announced that it has rejected the objection made by Yukatel Kayserispor regarding the 3-point deduction penalty. The federation stated that Kayserispor’s objection to the decision of the Club License Board dated 23 December 2022 and the request for the postponement of the decision were rejected.
The decision means that Kayserispor’s 3 points have been deleted, and the team has regressed to the 9th place in the league with 46 points.
The TFF Arbitration Board also rejected the objections of eight other clubs who were penalized three points each by the Club License Board. The clubs who received the three-point deduction penalty were Kayserispor from the Super League, Denizlispor, Altay, Erzurumspor, and Yeni Malatyaspor from the 1st League, Bayburt Special Administration and Balıkesirspor from the 2nd League, and Menemen FK and Somaspor.
While the objection of Kayserispor was examined, the penalties of the other eight clubs were upheld. In addition to these eight teams, the three points of Serik Belediyespor, a 2nd League team, who did not object to the decision, were deleted from the score sheet.
The objections of the 1st League representatives, Samsunspor and Erzurumspor FK, as well as all the clubs in the Super League, to the change made by the TFF Executive Board on the TFF Football Discipline Order on 8 December 2022 were rejected.
However, the board did not accept the objections of Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray, and Fraport TAV Antalyaspor to the PFDK decisions.
This decision will have significant implications for the teams, as it will affect their standing in the league. It remains to be seen how the teams will respond to this decision and what actions they will take following the TFF Arbitration Board’s ruling.
