Kazakhstan Dedicates $2.7 Million from Recovered Assets to Construct New School

The Kazakh government is making significant investments in improving education and infrastructure in various regions of the country. Recently, over 1.4 billion tenge (US$2.7 million) has been allocated from recovered illegally withdrawn assets to construct a new school in the Ulytau Region. This 80-seat school in Karazhal is expected to benefit local children, many of whom currently have to travel to other parts of town for classes in multiple shifts.
This funding is part of the government’s broader efforts to support socially significant projects across Kazakhstan. A total of 56.6 billion tenge (US$109.4 million) from the Special State Fund has been directed towards various initiatives, including schools in the Atyrau and Zhetisu Regions, a music school in the Turkistan Region, a sports complex in the Akmola and Almaty Regions, a multifunctional hospital complex in Ridder, a dormitory in Shymkent, two kindergartens in Aktobe and Petropavl, and a first-aid station in the Mangystau Region.
Furthermore, ongoing construction projects include a sports complex for gifted child athletes in Arkalyk, a rehabilitation center for children with musculoskeletal disorders in Astana, and a training center for people with special needs in Almaty. These developments underscore the government’s commitment to promoting education, health, and sports facilities for the benefit of communities across Kazakhstan.
