
Kazan Halal Market Fair to Debut at KazanForum 2025 Orient

The Kazan Halal Market fair is set to return as part of KazanForum, offering a variety of halal products, cultural activities, and entertainment for residents and visitors of the city.
The fair, which will take place from May 13th to 18th at the Agro-Industrial Park, will feature daily prize draws, performances by singers, theater and dance groups, master classes, and more. Visitors can also experience folk crafts and national customs, including learning how to make folk toys and dance the “Dance of the Soul” in Tatar choreography.
Chefs from Tatar cuisine restaurants will conduct master classes on traditional cuisine and celebrations, while the national folk music ensemble “Zhomga Kon” will entertain guests with performances. An exhibition of clothing collections with elements of the Tatar national costume will also be on display.
At the fair, attendees can purchase a variety of products including horse meat delicacies, beekeeping products, melons, gourds, medicinal herbs, teas, and jams. Last year, 57 companies from different regions of Russia participated in the fair, along with 15 foreign companies from countries such as Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, and Turkey.
