“Kenyan Flood Survivor Rescued by Helicopter”

An NGO working for elephant welfare in Kenya, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (SWT), recently carried out a daring rescue mission in the Galana-Kulalu pass. A tanker driver had been stranded on his vehicle for six hours as a result of sudden floodwaters. The SWT received word of the incident and immediately dispatched a helicopter to the scene. The pilot expertly maneuvered over the raging river to reach the stranded driver and airlifted him to safety. The entire rescue operation was captured on camera, showcasing the bravery of the rescue team and the sheer force of nature. The SWT, which has long been dedicated to the protection of elephants in Africa, has once again proved that they are willing to go to great lengths to ensure the safety of human and animal life in the region.
