
Kung Fu Panda 4 & Dune: Part Two Battle It Out at US Box Office

“Kung Fu Panda 4” continues to dominate the US box office, surpassing “Dune: Part Two” in its second weekend of release. The animated film earned $30 million, maintaining its first place position with a total gross of $108 million. Despite a 46% drop in earnings, “Kung Fu Panda 4” has already exceeded its production cost of $85 million.
On the other hand, “Dune: Part Two” secured second place with $29 million, showing a slightly lower drop of 38% in its third weekend. The film has accumulated a total of $205 million in the American box office, surpassing the earnings of the first installment.
In the third and fourth spots on the box office list were “Arthur the King,” starring Mark Wahlberg, with $7.5 million, and the horror film “Imaginary” from Blumhouse with $5.6 million, respectively. Rounding out the top five was “Cabrini” with earnings of $2.8 million.
