Kuwaiti Firm Explores Joint Ventures in Uzbekistan’s Chemical Sector
Uzbekistan and Kuwait Discuss Potential Collaborations in Online Meeting
Representatives from Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade, along with officials from “Uzkimyosanoat” and Kuwait’s EPSCO company, recently came together for an online meeting to explore potential collaborations. With support from Kuwait’s embassy, the virtual meeting centered around enhancing investment exchanges between the two nations and delving into opportunities for joint ventures.
During the meeting, Uzbekistan showcased its trade, economic, and investment potential to the Kuwaiti side. EPSCO’s Board Chairman, Alaa Hassan, expressed the company’s keen interest in partnering with Uzbekistan, specifically in the production of ethanol for the medical industry, as well as sanitary and disinfectant products. Additionally, EPSCO expressed a broader interest in collaborating within Uzbekistan’s chemical industry.
Following the fruitful discussions, both parties reached an agreement to facilitate a working visit for an EPSCO delegation to Uzbekistan. The purpose of this visit is to further investigate the proposed joint projects and strengthen partnerships between the two nations.
