Kyrgyzstan and Belarus Sign Action Plan for Bilateral Cooperation
On March 20, 2025, Kyrgyzstan and Belarus officially signed an Action Plan (Roadmap) for the development of bilateral cooperation for the years 2025-2027. The signing took place via videoconference, with Bakyt Torobaev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan, and Anatoly Sivak, Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus, putting pen to paper.
The Joint Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific-Technical, and Cultural Cooperation, co-chaired by officials from both countries, highlighted the importance of this document. The Action Plan covers all areas of interaction between Kyrgyzstan and Belarus and is expected to unleash untapped potential in trade, industrial cooperation, agriculture, and the transport and logistics sectors.
Both Kyrgyzstan and Belarus have committed to ensuring the timely and effective implementation of the roadmap. State agencies from both countries will work together to strengthen their bilateral cooperation further.
This agreement marks a significant step forward in the relationship between Kyrgyzstan and Belarus and lays the foundation for enhanced collaboration in various key sectors. The signing of the Action Plan demonstrates the commitment of both countries to deepening their partnership and fostering mutual growth and development.
