The IX Asian Winter Games are set to take place in China from February 7 to February 14, as reported by the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic. Kyrgyzstan will be participating in various competitions including biathlon, alpine skiing, figure skating, hockey, and curling.
It has been confirmed that at least 50 Kyrgyzstanis will be representing their country at the Asian Games. The event will see over a thousand athletes from 32 Asian countries competing for a total of 196 sets of medals across six sports and 11 disciplines.
