Kyrgyzstan Donates Books to Chingiz Aitmatov Library in Antalya

Bishkek – On December 13, 2024, the 24.kg news agency reported that Kyrgyzstan has donated books by the national writer Chingiz Aitmatov to the library named after him in Antalya. The Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Antalya gave 220 copies of books in Turkish and Kyrgyz languages to the local library on December 12, which is the birthday of the renowned writer.

The donation was made possible with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as the writer’s relatives. Consul Rustam Koshonov expressed gratitude for the library’s efforts in promoting Kyrgyz culture and the works of Chingiz Aitmatov, who is known worldwide for his literary contributions.
