Kyrgyzstan Showcases National Currency at World Money Fair in Berlin
Bishkek – On February 5, 2025, the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan presented collectible coins of the national currency at the annual World Money Fair in Berlin. The exhibition showcased the historical and cultural heritage of the Kyrgyz Republic through various banknotes and coins.
The display by the National Bank featured banknotes and collectible coins issued in series such as “Historical Events”, “The Era of the Kyrgyz Khaganate”, “Historical and Architectural Monuments of Kyrgyzstan”, “Kyrgyz Customs and Rituals”, “National Musical Instruments”, “National Sports and Folk Games”, “World Nomad Games”, and “Red Book of Kyrgyzstan”.
Visitors to the exhibition had the opportunity to view over 30 different exhibits of banknotes and coins of the national currency, each representing a unique aspect of Kyrgyz culture and history.
