Kyrgyzstan Sees Triple Increase in Customs Clearance Revenues in January 2025
Customs clearance fees in Kyrgyzstan have significantly increased in January 2025 compared to the same period last year, according to the Ministry of Finance. The revenue to the republican budget from customs fees collected when declaring goods and vehicles has more than tripled.
In January 2025, a total of 561.9 million soms were collected for customs clearance, a stark contrast to the 184.9 million soms collected in January 2024. This surge in fees indicates a significant increase in trade and economic activity in the country.
