Turkish Armed Forces Neutralize Terrorist in Northern Iraq
According to information received from the Ministry of National Defense, Turkish Armed Forces units, carrying out search and scanning operations in the Zap region of northern Iraq, have discovered the presence of terrorists hiding in a cave at an altitude of 852.
In a daring operation, commandos neutralized the terrorist after their calls for surrender were met with gunfire. The terrorist was identified as Ferit Yüksel, also known as Batman Serzan Mava. He was a close associate of Siyabend, the so-called Zap state officer of the PKK terrorist organization, who was neutralized last year. Yüksel was responsible for critical communications in the region on behalf of the terrorist organization.
Security sources have confirmed the elimination of both terrorists, with a photograph showing them in the same cave where they had hidden in previous years.
