Last Minute Sports News: PFDK Referrals Announced

The Turkish Football Federation Legal Consultancy has referred multiple clubs and individuals to the Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) following various incidents and behaviors during recent matches.
The President of Istanbulspor Club, Ecmel Faik Sarıalioğlu, was referred to the PFDK after he pulled his team from the field during the Istanbulspor-Trabzonspor match. The TFF accused Sarıalioğlu of “insulting against the instructions” and “acting against sportsmanship”, while Istanbulspor Club was accused of “ugly and bad cheering”, “leaving the match” and “acting against the instructions”.
Trabzonspor Club and its president, Ertuğrul Doğan, were also referred to the board for “ugly and bad cheering” and “acting against the instructions”, respectively.
Fenerbahçe football player Fred and Mert Hakan Yandaş were referred to the board for various reasons, including “insult” and “unsportsmanlike conduct”. The Fenerbahçe Club itself was also referred to the PFDK for “ugly and bad cheering” and “field incidents”.
EMS Yapı Sivasspor Club President Mecnun Odyakmaz, as well as Galatasaray Club, Gaziantep FK, Yukatel Adana Demirspor, and Mondihome Kayserispor were all sent to discipline for various reasons such as “his statements about the referee and other competition officials”, “ugly and bad cheering”, “irregular attendance”, and “field incidents”.
The Turkish Football Federation is taking a strong stance against any behaviors that go against the spirit of fair play and sportsmanship, and the Professional Football Disciplinary Board will now review these cases and decide on the necessary actions to be taken.
