Bryant Dunston: The American-Armenian Professional Basketball Player
Bryant Dunston is known as an American-Armenian professional basketball player who stands 2.03 meters tall and plays in the Pivot position. He currently plays for Anadolu Efes in the Turkish Basketball League and the EuroLeague.
After finishing his college career, Dunston decided to participate in the 2008 NBA Draft but was not selected by any team. He then began his professional career in 2008 by joining the Korean Basketball League’s Mobis Phoebus team.
Dunston’s contract with the Greek team Aris was terminated in February 2011, and he moved to the Israeli team Bnei Hasharon. Later, he transferred to Hapoel Holon.
Dunston had an impressive season with Bnei Hasharon, averaging 14.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, 1.9 blocks, 1.1 steals, and 1.0 assists in the Israeli Basketball League during the 2011-12 season. His performance caught the attention of various NBA and EuroLeague teams.
Dunston was then called by the Brooklyn Nets team for the 2012 NBA Summer League but was not able to make an impressive mark. As a result, he signed with the Italian team Pallacanestro Varese for a season. During his time with Pallacanestro Varese, Dunston averaged 14.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.1 blocks, and 1.5 steals in 41 games in the 2012-13 season.
In July 2013, Dunston signed a contract with the reigning EuroLeague champions, the Greek team Olimpiakos. He played with the team for two years before joining Anadolu Efes in June 2015. Dunston continues to showcase his talents in the Turkish Basketball League and EuroLeague as a key member of the Anadolu Efes team.
