Over the past 10 years, the life expectancy of Kyrgyzstanis has seen an increase of two years, according to data from the Ministry of Health presented at a recent board meeting.
The Ministry reported that the average life expectancy in the republic in 2024 was 72.1 years. Interestingly, women in the country tend to live about eight years longer than men, with an average of 76.6 years compared to 68.3 years.
In related news, Japanese researchers have discovered that men and women may benefit from different dietary approaches when it comes to longevity. Women are advised to consume more healthy fats while limiting their intake of carbohydrates. On the other hand, men should aim to reduce their fat consumption and increase their intake of carbohydrates.
These findings shed light on the importance of personalized nutrition and lifestyle choices in promoting overall health and longevity. As Kyrgyzstanis continue to prioritize their well-being, these insights may prove valuable in further improving life expectancy rates in the country.
