
Macron and Biden Call for Urgent Humanitarian Aid for Gaza

French President Emmanuel Macron and US President Joe Biden discussed the ongoing conflict in Gaza and the Ukraine-Russia War during a recent phone call, according to a statement from the Elysee Palace.
The two leaders expressed their concern for the people of Gaza and agreed that humanitarian aid should be urgently delivered to the region to address the important needs of the population. They also emphasized the importance of preventing a regional conflict and reaching an agreement to release prisoners in order to reduce tension and end the conflicts in the region.
President Macron voiced his opposition to Israel’s attacks on the city of Rafah and called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. In addition to the situation in Gaza, the leaders also discussed the Ukraine-Russia War and agreed to strengthen their support for Ukraine to ensure that Russia does not succeed in the conflict.
President Macron informed President Biden about the upcoming Support Conference for Ukraine, which will be held in Paris on February 26 with the participation of leaders and ministers from various countries. The conference aims to provide further assistance to Ukraine in its struggle against Russian aggression.
The discussions between Macron and Biden highlight the ongoing efforts to address humanitarian crises and conflicts in the region, as well as the importance of international cooperation in maintaining peace and stability.
