Malawi Devastated by Deadly Floods and Landslides
Six people have tragically lost their lives in Malawi due to floods and landslides caused by heavy rains in the Nkhotakota region, according to a statement released by the Malawi Disaster Management Department.
The statement also revealed that the infrastructure in the affected region has suffered significant damage, and road transportation to the area has been disrupted. Approximately 14 thousand individuals have been impacted by the disaster, with displaced citizens being relocated to camp areas for safety.
