Man Undresses in Front of Mosque in Balıkesir, Gets Detained
The police took action against a woman who caused a stir by taking off her clothes in front of a mosque in Edremit district of Balıkesir. The incident took place in the morning hours in front of the Court Mosque on Çayiçi Street in Turhanbey Neighborhood. The woman, identified as ET, exhibited strange behavior and was suspected of being under the influence of drugs or having mental health issues.
Witnesses reported the woman to the authorities as she began harming herself and removing her clothes. The police intervened and took the woman into custody for necessary procedures. She is facing charges for “disturbing the peace and tranquility of people” due to her actions.
