MHP President Bahçeli Undergoes Heart Valve Surgery
MHP Chairman Devlet Bahceli’s Recent Health Statement
The leader of the MHP (Nationalist Movement Party), Devlet Bahceli, has made a new statement regarding his health status. In the statement, Bahceli revealed that he underwent a successful procedure to address degeneration on a heart valve that was changed 10 years ago.
According to the announcement made by MHP Deputy Chairman Prof.Dr. Ahmet Selim Yurdakul and Cardiovascular Surgery Specialist Dr. Sertaç Çiçek, Bahceli was admitted to Anadolu Health Center Hospital on 4 February 2025 for planned examinations and treatments. The procedure to change the existing cover on the heart valve was completed without any complications, and Bahceli’s medical condition is reported to be extremely good and stable.
As a result of his successful hospital stay, Bahceli is expected to return to his daily activities in a short period. The MHP Chairman’s absence from the party’s weekly group meeting at the Turkish Grand National Assembly was due to a cough illness, which has now been treated, and he is in good health.
With this recent update on Bahceli’s health, supporters and colleagues are relieved to hear that he is recovering well and will soon be back to his usual routine.
