Minister Koca Announces Regulation Changes Regarding Compulsory Service in Specializations
Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca made important announcements today during his visit to Sultangazi. He inspected the construction of the Oncology Diagnosis and Treatment Hospital, highlighting that it will have 12 operating rooms and 63 intensive care units. The hospital, with a closed area of 54 thousand square meters, is being transformed into an oncology hospital to meet the needs of the region.
Additionally, Minister Koca revealed plans to change regulations regarding compulsory service in minor specializations. He stated that there will be a new law proposed to allow doctors to start their minor specialization immediately after completing their major specialization, without being required to fulfill any remaining compulsory service.
This new regulation aims to make specialization in sub-branches more attractive and streamline the process for medical professionals.
