Minister Yumaklı Visits Saudi Arabia to Discuss Agriculture and Forestry Relations
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı in Saudi Arabia
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı recently visited Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, as part of his official visit. During his visit, he held important meetings and discussions with key officials in Saudi Arabia.
One of the crucial meetings Minister Yumaklı had during his visit was with Abdulrahman Al-Fadhli, the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture of Saudi Arabia. Following their discussion, a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Agriculture was signed between Turkey and Saudi Arabia, outlining potential areas for collaboration in agriculture.
Minister Yumaklı also met with Fahad Bin Abdurrahman al-Jalajel, the Minister of Health of Saudi Arabia and Chairman of the Food and Drug Authority. During this meeting, he also had the opportunity to engage with the CEO of the Saudi Arabian Food and Drug Authority, Dr. Hisham al-Jadayi. These meetings provided a platform for discussions on bilateral cooperation in the areas of health and food safety.
In a statement following his meetings, Minister Yumaklı expressed his hope for fruitful negotiations and collaboration between Turkey and Saudi Arabia. His visit underscores the importance of diplomatic relations in fostering cooperation in agriculture, health, and other key sectors between the two nations.
