Monkeys Have a Sense of Humor: Just Like Humans, They Joke and Tease
A new study has revealed that monkeys engage in teasing behavior, much like humans do. The research identified 284 potential incidents of teasing among monkeys, with 129 of those meeting the criteria for playful and provocative behavior.
The study’s team identified 18 different types of teasing behaviors exhibited by the monkeys. These behaviors included body slamming, hair pulling, hitting, poking, waving objects in front of the face, tickling, stealing, and violating personal space.
