Namangan Traffic Police Seize 360 Illegally Transported iPhone 16 Pro Max Devices
In a recent operation at a traffic checkpoint in the Kamchik Pass, law enforcement officers made a significant discovery. A total of 360 iPhone 16 Pro Max smartphones were found being transported without the necessary documentation. The value of the seized devices is estimated to be more than $430,000.
The incident took place on April 11, 2025, around 05:30 a.m., when officers from the Kamchik Pass Traffic Patrol Unit stopped a Lacetti vehicle on the Valley-Tashkent route at the Namangan traffic checkpoint. Upon inspection, it was revealed that the vehicle was carrying a large number of iPhone 16 Pro Max devices, all of which were without proper documentation.
Following standard procedures, official records were completed, and both the smartphones and the driver, identified as A.M., were handed over to the Pop District Department of the Economic Crimes Investigation Division under the Prosecutor General’s Office for further investigation.
It is important to note that the base model of the iPhone 16 Pro Max is valued at $1,200. With 360 devices confiscated, the market value of the seized smartphones exceeds $430,000.
