National Bank of Kyrgyzstan sells 144.5 million soms worth of gold bars in 2024

The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has reported that they have sold a total of 144.5 million soms worth of gold bars from January 1 to July 29, 2024. Since May 7, 2015, the National Bank has sold a total of 21,728 gold bars, weighing 486.1 kilograms, for 2,130 billion soms. This year alone, they have sold 2,053 gold bars, weighing 21.6 kilograms, for 144.5 million soms.
The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has noted a stable demand for gold bars of different weights, indicating continued interest in investing in gold. The sale of gold bars by the National Bank serves as a strategic move to maintain financial stability and support the national economy.
