The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has reported that they have sold a total of 144.5 million soms worth of gold bars from January 1 to July 29, 2024. Since May 7, 2015, the National Bank has sold a total of 21,728 gold bars, weighing 486.1 kilograms, for 2,130 billion soms. This year alone, they have sold 2,053 gold bars, weighing 21.6 kilograms, for 144.5 million soms.
