Bishkek to Host National IT Tournament to Determine Best Specialists
Bishkek, October 28, 2024 – The Federation of Drones and Robotics announced that a national IT tournament will be held in Bishkek on November 20-21. The tournament aims to identify the best specialists in key areas such as design, animation, hackathons, mobilography, robotics, esports, cybersecurity, and more.
Teams from all universities in Kyrgyzstan will participate in the event, which is also seen as a step towards opening the Federation of Drones and Robotics. The tournament will serve as a platform to select talented participants who will represent the country at international competitions.
In February of next year, the winners will have the opportunity to compete with teams from international universities such as Kazan Federal University, Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University), and KazSU. The ultimate goal is participation in the Games of the Future, scheduled for the summer of 2025.
Organizers have highlighted that the tournament aims to support the IT community of the Kyrgyz Republic and is organized on a non-commercial basis, with free participation for all contestants and spectators.
