Hungarian Communities Encouraged to Create Value and Organize Themselves for a Prosperous Future
In a recent address at a graduation ceremony in Targu Secuiesc (Kézdivásárhely), János Csák, the minister for culture and innovation, emphasized the importance of Hungarian communities creating value and organizing themselves in order to give the best response to the historical event of Trianon. Csák highlighted the need for a culturally strong, economically confident, and prosperous Hungarian nation in every corner of the Carpathian Basin.
Csák praised the Hungarian government’s commitment to creating a work-based society and pointed out the success of Szeklerland in fostering a strong economy that has attracted foreign investments over the past 14 years. He stressed the importance of creating places where people want to come and study in order to further economic development.
The minister expressed gratitude towards the region’s political and ecclesiastical leaders for their cooperation and highlighted the significant increase in the number of students studying at the local vocational school. Csák also lauded the Hungarian dual training system as a vital knowledge platform in Szeklerland, noting its high ranking among OECD countries.
Csák emphasized that Hungarians are survivors of history, not its victims, but acknowledged that Hungarian survival in the future requires knowledge and self-organization. He emphasized the long-standing presence of Hungarians in the region and expressed a desire for their continued presence for another thousand years, emphasizing the need to create value for future generations.
In conclusion, Csák’s remarks underscored the importance of Hungarian communities coming together to create value, organize themselves, and strive for a prosperous future in the Carpathian Basin.
