Netanyahu Developing Phased Plan for Post-Gaza Attack Recovery

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reportedly prepared a draft road map with a group of businessmen outlining a plan to bring stability and administration to the Gaza Strip after the recent attacks. The plan, shared with US officials and relevant parties, includes several phases aimed at establishing a new Palestinian administration and, eventually, a Palestinian state.

According to the plan, the first phase involves the establishment of a military administration in Gaza following the end of the attacks to handle the administrative affairs of humanitarian aid and the civilian population during the transition period. The second phase will see the establishment of a new Palestinian administration in Gaza, with the help of an Arab coalition including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Morocco, the UAE, and Bahrain, without the involvement of Fatah and Hamas.

The third phase of the plan includes preparing for a new reform that would potentially allow the new Palestinian administration in Gaza to also dominate the West Bank, with changes to the Palestinian education system. If successful, the final stage could see the establishment of a Palestinian State without an army under the administration of the Palestinian authority within 2 to 4 years.

However, no official statement has been made by the Israeli government regarding this plan. It was reported that despite Netanyahu’s efforts, the Israeli army and domestic intelligence agency have also been working on their own plans for the administration of Gaza after the attacks.

Washington officials have stated their opposition to Israel maintaining a permanent occupation of Gaza, establishing illegal settlements, or deporting Palestinians forcibly from the area. It remains to be seen how the plan will progress and whether it will receive widespread support from the international community.
