Netanyahu: Military Action Continues

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has addressed the nation after the Israeli army’s attacks on Gaza and Palestinian resistance groups responded with rocket fire. Netanyahu stated that they are currently in the middle of a military operation and the Israeli army is continuing to violently attack Gaza.
During his address, Netanyahu noted that they have created a new balance with new technological developments, operational skills and the initiative they have taken, arguing that they will choose the time and place to attack the terrorists, it is up to them to choose. He also stated that they heavily targeted Islamic Jihad targets in Gaza and that the military operation has not yet ended.
However, Netanyahu did not make any statement regarding the ongoing ceasefire talks between Israel and Palestinian groups. It has been reported that the ceasefire talks are continuing through Egypt, Qatar, and the United Nations (UN), but no agreement has been reached yet. According to a Palestinian source close to the talks, the Palestinian groups asked Israel to stop the “politics of assassination” but Tel Aviv refused.
The recent attacks carried out by the Israeli army on the besieged Gaza Strip have resulted in 21 fatalities and 64 injuries, including three military staff of the Islamic Jihad Movement.
The situation remains tense in the region as both sides continue their attacks and negotiations for a ceasefire continue.
