Netanyahu Urging World Leaders Amid Speculation of Arrest Warrant
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has published a speech on social media in response to the International Criminal Court’s potential decision to issue arrest warrants for him and other Israeli officials. Netanyahu firmly stated that no decision made in The Hague or anywhere else will weaken Israel’s determination to achieve its objectives in the ongoing war in Gaza.
Netanyahu emphasized that the primary goals of the attacks on the Gaza Strip are to secure the release of kidnapped individuals, achieve a definitive victory against Hamas, and ensure that Gaza does not pose a threat to Israel in the future. He also mentioned that restoring security and resettling citizens in the northern border areas with Lebanon is a crucial aspect of the conflict.
Despite international warnings and objections, Netanyahu expressed his intention to enter Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip to dismantle Hamas brigades and achieve all the objectives of the war. He defended this decision by labeling Rafah as the “last stronghold of Hamas” and stressed the necessity of taking control of the area.
Regarding the International Criminal Court’s potential actions, Netanyahu dismissed their authority over Israel and labeled any potential arrest warrants as historical scandals rooted in anti-Semitism.
