Netflix Releases First Look at “The Platform” Sequel – News

Netflix has announced that the highly anticipated sequel to “The Platform” will soon be available on the streaming platform.
Directed by Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia, “The Platform” became one of the most-watched original films in Netflix history in 2020. The Spanish-language film depicted a harrowing social experiment within a vertical prison where prisoners on higher floors could indulge in an abundance of food, while those below faced starvation.
“The Platform 2” promises to continue the suspense and intrigue of its predecessor, with new cast members Hovik Keuchkerian and Milena Smit taking on the lead roles. In recently released images, Smit’s character appears despondent while Keuchkerian’s character exudes fear, hinting at the intense drama to come.
Netflix has provided a brief synopsis for the sequel, posing the question: “A mysterious person has managed to create a new law on the Platform, but can justice truly be established in hell? So who will implement this?”
Although an exact release date has not yet been announced, fans can look forward to the arrival of “The Platform 2” on Netflix later this year. Stay tuned for more updates on this gripping tale of survival and morality in the face of adversity.
