State Pharmacies to be Opened in Naryn and Issyk-Kul Regions
Bishkek, 09:20, 14 October 2023 – The Minister of Health, Alymkadyr Beishenaliev, has instructed the initiation of work to establish state pharmacies in healthcare institutions in the Naryn and Issyk-Kul regions, according to the ministry’s press center.
Currently on a working trip to the Issyk-Kul region, Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev emphasized that the establishment of state pharmacies is a solution to the population’s issues concerning the availability of medicines.
Previously, following a visit to the Osh region, the minister directed the heads of healthcare organizations throughout the country to identify suitable locations for setting up state pharmacies by the end of October. Subsequently, the focus will shift to the provision of medicines.
A total of 35 state pharmacies are planned to be opened by January 1, 2024.
