Numan Kurtulmuş accuses Muharrem İnce of FETO-like operations
AK Party Deputy Chairman Numan Kurtulmuş attended the Meeting with Amateur Sports Clubs in Bağcılar, organized by the AK Party Istanbul Provincial Directorate and hosted by Bağcılar Municipality. The event was attended by Bağcılar Mayor Abdullah Özdemir, athletes, and their families. Sign language was used during the speeches to facilitate hearing-impaired citizens’ participation. The national automobile project of Turkey, Togg, also garnered much interest during the program.
Kurtulmuş made a speech discussing the withdrawal of the Nation Party Chairman and former Presidential candidate Muharrem İnce. He criticized the opposition, stating that politics has ethics, and that the politics of Turkey have been impacted by “perception operations that poison politics.” Kurtulmuş further noted how the former chairman of the CHP, Deniz Baykal, was dismissed from the party’s presidency and the parliamentary lists of another political party were changed with similar operations and pressure in the previous elections.
Kurtulmuş expressed indignation towards the opposition’s behavior and advised them to stop fighting against Turkey’s progress. He emphasized that politics should follow morality as the “harbor of politics is ethics.” Furthermore, he emphasized the AK Party’s commitment to fight hard but would not “pass by the side of the roads that poison politics.”
