Numerous new bills passed at the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Orient session
The Mejlis of Turkmenistan held its eighth session of the seventh convocation on Saturday, April 12, during which several important draft laws were discussed and adopted unanimously. Among the laws approved were the new version of the “On the Court” law and the “On accession to the 1988 Protocol to the International Convention on Load Lines of 1966”.
The session also included a report from the Authorized Representative for Human Rights in Turkmenistan, the Ombudsman. Additionally, amendments and additions to various legislative acts were considered and approved, including laws related to administrative procedures, automobile transport, and migration.
