Kyrgyzstan to Open Consulate Office in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia
An office for the Consul of Kyrgyzstan is set to be opened in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, as reported by the government of the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast in the Russian Federation.
The establishment of the position of Honorary Consul of the Kyrgyz Republic with a consular district that includes the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast is designed to strengthen ties between the two regions. The role will be taken on by Vadim Yun, the head of an IT company.
Olga Guseva, the Minister of International and Interregional Relations in Nizhny Novgorod, highlighted the significance of appointing the seventh Honorary Consul in the city. This move aims to enhance Nizhny Novgorod’s status as a hub for international relations and to boost its reputation as an appealing destination for investment and collaboration.
Guseva emphasized that the consular office will serve as a link to strengthen trade and economic connections between the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast and Kyrgyzstan. It will also facilitate the advancement of joint projects in industries such as agriculture and promote cultural exchanges through activities like exhibitions, concerts, and other events.
