Over 2,000 Babies Born in Uzbekistan on New Year’s Day 2024

The Health Ministry has reported that a total of 1,859 newborns entered the world on the first day of 2024 in Uzbekistan. Among these newborns, 847 were girls and 1,012 were boys. The highest number of births took place in the Kashkadarya region, with 207 newborns.

The Health Ministry’s press service also noted that out of 22 cases of twin births, 21 cases were twins, and in one case, triplets were born in the Surkhandarya region, totaling 45 babies.
