The Qassam Brigades and Quds Seriyyas, two armed groups in the Gaza Strip, recently made announcements on their Telegram accounts providing updates on the ongoing conflicts in the region.
One of the statements revealed that the Qassam Brigades successfully shot down an Apache helicopter using a SAM-7 missile in the Az-Zeytun District of Gaza city. Additionally, an Israeli Skylark-2 reconnaissance plane was also shot down while on an intelligence mission in Beit Lahiya.
In other parts of Gaza city, 5 Israeli military vehicles were targeted with Yasin-105 missiles in the Et-Tuffah and Ed-Derec regions. Palestinian resistance forces also attacked Israeli soldiers east of Tuffah using explosives and missiles. Israeli soldiers and their vehicles were hit with mortars in the north of the southern city of Khan Younis and in the east of the town of Huzaa.
Meanwhile, according to a statement made by the Al-Quds Seriyyah, Israeli soldiers in a tunnel were killed and injured as a result of the blowing up of the entrance of a tunnel in the Ash-Shucaiye District in the east of Gaza city. An Israeli soldier was also hit by sniper fire in the Tuffah District.
