Juventus’ Paul Pogba Banned for 4 Years After Positive Doping Test
Italian football team Juventus’ French player Paul Pogba has been handed a 4-year ban after testing positive for doping. The incident occurred after a match against Udinese in August 2023, where Pogba was found to have elevated levels of testosterone TES TOS TE RONA in his system.
The 30-year-old midfielder first received a temporary ban after his initial positive test in September 2023, followed by another positive result in October of the same year. Since his last match against Empoli on September 3, 2023, Pogba has been sidelined from playing.
Pogba is expected to appeal this decision by the Italian Anti-Doping Organization and plans to seek justice through the International Court of Arbitration for Sport. The future of the talented footballer remains uncertain as he faces this setback in his career.
